This project involved major structural alterations, to an existing locally listed building and the construction of a new reception atrium for client Cleopatramaker LP (BP Pension Fund). It also included the full refurbishment and fit-out of a Victorian Brewery building to create eighteen individually serviced office/studio spaces.
The comprehensive alteration works were carried out from basement to third floor, under the supervision of the local heritage officer, whilst the tenant Chrysalis Records remained in continuous occupation of floors four to seven. The sequencing involved three weekend moves of the reception area including all telephone, data and CCTV.
Full air conditioning and LG7 lighting was provided to all office areas, the works also provided flexibility for multiple areas to be occupied by one tenant.
