Design and construction of a new 97,000sqft warehouse building with associated offices, external yards, car parking and landscaping works. The foundations and floor slab are supported via precast concrete driven piles with external areas having been subjected to surcharging. The works were completed on site 26 weeks from receiving instructions to commence, these works included a Cat B office fit-out completed in the same period.
In addition, the works required installation of a foul water treatment plant, rainwater harvesting systems and solar thermal hot water systems. These measures contributing to the BREEAM Excellent rating that was required as part of the Local Development Order planning consent.
